A variety of shaped planters were created using different types of timber. The planters were planted with herbs and visually stimulating varieties of plants. A small water feature was installed and various slate mulches, pebbles and gravels were used to give the area a natural feel. The slate mulches were planted out with alpines and bulbs. A water butt was installed to capture and recycle rainwater for use on the gardens.
