Views before starting the project and on completion. The tarmac was left in place to provide a firm surface for the playground.
The area was bordered by a wall and a prickly hedge which shed thorns onto the playground causing problems for the children. The perimeter was fenced to prevent the spikes falling into the area.
The play sections were laid with wood bark to provide a natural feel and soft sensation underfoot.

The wendy house area encourages imagination and creativity.
